IBC shows are open to all breeds and exhibitors that meet
the age requirement of the class.
Show Rules:
1.
Official handbook
of the Pony of the Americas rules shall be followed at all ODPOAC shows. Visit www.poac.org
(Costume class exhibitors telling their “story” maybe new to open
exhibitors)
2.
Saturday shows
will begin at 9:00 a.m., Sunday shows will begin at 8:30 a.m.
3. Pre-entries must be received via E-mail or U.S. mail
by the Wednesday prior to the show.

4. Entry Fees:
Pre-entry: $7.00
/ halter class if pony is shown in halter ONLY
$5.00
/ class otherwise
$40
/ day (per horse/rider combination) all-day fee pre-entry $50 day of show

Entrants
selecting all-day fee are responsible for the fee even if classes are scratched. They are permitted to add additional classes
on the day of show at no charge. All-day
fee must be selected on the entry form.

Entrants not
selecting all-day fee may add classes on the day of show at the day-of-show
rate.

of Show: $8.00 / halter class if pony is shown in
halter ONLY

5.
State Secretary/Points
Posting Fee: $1.00/Registered POA/show

National Posting
Fee: $ 5.00/Registered POA/show (no fee for open show)
7.
Facility Fee:
$20 per youth 9 & under, 10-13 and 14-18, & adult exhibitor - $10 Lead
line
8.
Stall Fees
(including tack stalls): $30.00 per day, stalls must be picked clean at end of
show.
9.
Hard hats with
harness MUST be worn during schooling over jumps, fences classes, and gymkhana
classes.
10. The jump committee reserves the right to set the
height of the jumps at each show. The height will not exceed the maximum height
as stated in the POA handbook.
11. Schooling breaks for jumping will be refereed by the
jump/show committee. Depending upon
division size, separate warm ups may be held.
12. Trail classes may be held in a separate arena at a
different time of day than is indicated on the show bill. Participants will be
notified of such changes on day of show.
13. Classes with fewer than two entries may be combined at
the discretion of the show committee.
Classes with more than six entries may be divided by age at the
discretion of the show committee.
